IntenseDebate Introduces CommentLuv Plugin

Today, while checking my Intense Debate account I was pleasantly surprised to see CommentLuv in the plugins section. This was the feature I was eagerly waiting for since a long time. Other commenting systems like JS-Kit also provide support for CommentLuv but I wanted to stay with Intense Debate. Automate Your Tweets With AutoTweeter

Twitter is all about tweets (well that's quite obvious) and retweets. Your tweets decide how popular you are on Twitter. But not everyone has the time to sit and keep on tweeting like many of the popular tweeple. That's where automated tweets come into picture. Just select some tweets that you like and schedule them and presto, they get automatically tweeted at a specified time and you dont even have to be there.

AutoTweeter is a great java based desktop application created by @titochayan which automatically posts your tweets. As it is a Java application, it will run on any computer and the best thing is that you don't need to install AutoTweeter to use it. AutoTweeter is available in two versions: Demo and Pro.

To start using, just enter your Twitter username and password and select the time interval between each tweet and click the Save button. All you have to do is, select the tweets that you want to be tweeted and add them to AutoTweeter and hit the Tweet Later button. You can also use the Quick Tweet option to send instant tweets. You can also manage multiple files using the House Keeping option. Check the screenshots given below. Click on the pictures to enlarge them.

The Pro version of AutoTweeter provides more features compared to the Demo version. Using the Pro version, you can start the application on System Startup and also use the URL shortening service and repeat the tweets. The Pro version costs 20$ .

Add A TweetMeme Retweet Button To Blogger Blog

With the increase in the popularity of Twitter, it has become a great place to share information on the net. Many bloggers have stated that Twitter is among the top sources from where their blog gets traffic. Even I have experienced the traffic that Twitter can send to blogs. Few days back, my post 16 Cool Sites To Get Free Twitter Backgrounds spread rapidly on Twitter and was Retweeted more than 150 times and I got 700+ Unique visitors in just 2 hours!!! and I got more than 1k unique visits that day. So its important that you add a Retweet button on your blog so that you can get more traffic to your blog.

Tweetmeme has provided a nice and simple option to add a Retweet button to blogs. Here are the two types of RT buttons.

To add the RT button to your blogger blog, visit the Layout option and select the Edit HTML option. Now select the Expand Widget Templates option and search the following code in the template
